The Regal Theatre is a much loved historical icon, located in the heart of Subiaco in Perth, Western Australia.

Hardhat Media was honoured to be asked by The Regal Theatre and Subiaco Council to create a video to showcase their refurbishment and upgrade for the historical buildings’ 80th Birthday.

We combined interviews with theatre legend John Thornton, Hames Sharley Director Warren Kerr & City of Subiaco Mayor Penny Taylor, as well as archival vision from the theatre, footage of live shows, animation and dynamic editing.

In a separate video we embarked upon a trip down memory lane with John Thornton. John recalls precious moments with some of the world’s best-known entertainers.
